About the position

We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to own our finance function end-to-end - budgeting, accounting, reporting, compliance, and operations. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role at a high-growth startup: you'll be the go-to person for everything finance, working directly with the CEO and deeply with the business.

Background in e-commerce and physical products companies is a must.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a finance management role in e-commerce and/or physical products (hardware)/manufacturing companies
  • Prior startup experience — comfortable building processes from scratch
  • Proficient in QBO and comfortable leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and Excel skills
  • Excellent communicator — can translate numbers into business insights and interface confidently with banks, investors, and external partners
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting - own the full budget cycle; partner with department heads on annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and budget-vs-actual monitoring; identify cost-reduction opportunities
  • Reporting & Analysis - deliver monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and KPIs; build and maintain financial models; consolidate statements across multiple entities
  • Accounting & Operations - Manage day-to-day accounting (AP/AR, payroll, expenses); maintain audit-ready records; serve as primary contact for banks and financial institutions
  • Tax & Compliance - Ensure U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance; coordinate with external tax/accounting firms on filings and regulatory changes

The role is a remote position, with full-time, flexible working hours, with occasional overlaps with the US team.
